Originally developed by Guhring in the 1970’s, variable flute end mill technology has expanded with a revolutionary new style, Firex® coated end mill, in an ultra fine carbide grade. The RF50 Line of variable flute carbide end mills combines a new uneven flute geometry with an improved end tooth design that greatly reduces vibration and chatter, especially in roughing operations.
